This property has been in the hands of the same family for some 50 years. Having this information should speak volumes to any potential buyers as it confirms that this has been a very happy home. Briar Close has something to do with this as it is immaculately kept. The residents certainly take pride in their surroundings here.

Briar Close, is an extremely sought after area. Properties do not stay on the market long as it has so much to offer. The Grammar Schools are close by as is Maypole and Joydens Wood Primary Schools. Local shops and transport links are also easily accessible.
Located just off Summerhouse Drive, Briar Close is extremely quiet and really is a very pleasant place to be.

Now onto this lovely home…

Yes, it does require some updating but trust me you really can ignore that fact as what is has to offer will make a bit of DIY seem like a walk in the park!

Detached and with three “good” size bedrooms this property really is a bit special. With a long driveway to the side there is parking for at least three cars. As well as the garage, which can be accessed from the front or the rear of the home.

The front garden is small with some nice mature shrubs, plants and lawned area. Nice and neat and easily manageable for even the most novice of gardeners.

Once inside, you will be greeted by a good size hallway, a window to the side sees the natural light in making it feel welcoming as soon as you step inside. The downstairs w.c is a welcome addition to any property especially if you have a growing family.

The through lounge/diner offers the space that buyers crave, with a window to the front and the sliding patio doors to the rear which lead out to the conservatory mean this room is flooded with natural light. Such a great place to sit and relax or catch up with the family after a hard day.

Once through the patio doors you are met by a wonderful sized brick built conservatory. Take a seat, grab a coffee and unwind whilst looking out to the garden – in the summer months this will be just bliss.

The kitchen is a good size and surprisingly wide with more of that gorgeous natural light radiating through the large window to the side. Access to the conservatory can be reached via a door from the kitchen here as well. The original serving hatch through to the dining area really does tell you a bit about the character of this property.

To the first floor you are met by the family bathroom. Having originally been a separate toilet and bathroom, the wall was knocked through to create one good size bathroom. The corner bath utilises this area really well and doesn’t encroach on the remainder of the space offered.

Bedroom one, a lovely size overlooking the rear garden. Fitted wardrobes are a plus here.

The master bedroom is extremely large and a king size bed would not look out of place, plenty of room for other items of furniture as well.

The single bedroom is a surprise. It’s bigger than the average single you come to expect these days. With a built in cupboard and built in shelves, which are really useful, this room is a really good size.

The landing is very generous, nice and wide, so moving furniture in and out shouldn’t be too painful!

The rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with a small patio area at the rear. There is also a shed and Summerhouse with power and lighting – maybe a garden bar? Or workshop?

The garage to the side is what you would come to expect from a property which has so much to offer and finishes the benefits of living here off beautifully.

Yes, it has GCH and it has D/G but more importantly it is a home that is built to last, sturdy and strong and waiting to be appreciated once more.
